Carers - Know Your Rights

 Carers Northern Ireland is holding four ½ day training sessions followed by a light lunch, for carers.  Content will include:

n What is Carers Allowance, and who would be entitled to claim it?

n What is a Carers Assessment and how would carers benefit from having an assessment carried out?

n What are Direct Payments and how can carers use them to purchase services?

n Who in Health and Social Services has responsibility to help carers access the services they require?

Wednesday 1st February 2006, 10.30-1.30 pm, Omagh Community House, 2 Drumragh Avenue, Omagh

Tuesday 7th February 2006 10-1 pm, NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast

Wednesday 8th February 2006, 10-1 pm, The Business Centre, Rainey Street, Magherafelt

 

Booking is absolutely necessary, Thanks to funding from Lloyds TSB these events are free but limited to 20 people for each event which will be on a first come first serve basis, so book now to avoid disappointment.
