The  Advice Services Alliance - the umbrella body for Advice NI, Citizens Advice Northern Ireland and Law Centre (NI) - held a conference on 20 November on the way ahead for civil justice. 

The aim was to ensure that civil justice, including advice services, remains on the agenda and is not overshadowed by policing and criminal justice issues in the debate on the devolution of justice. 

The keynote speakers were the Lord Chief Justice Sir Declan Morgan, Steve Hynes, director of Legal Action Group and Derek Alcorn, Chief Executive of Citizens Advice Northern Ireland.
