Refugee Week logoRefugee Week is being held from 11 to 20 June 2010 and the theme this year is Destitution: Still Human, Still Here

There will be a varied programme of events including an Information Day, International music night, a seminar, discussion groups and even a football tournament!

Launch of Refugee Week Events (NICRAS)
Friday 11 June, 10am-1pm, Long Gallery, Stormont

Information Day (NICRAS)

Tuesday 15 June, Lunch 1-2pm, Workshop 2-5pm, City Church, University Avenue, Belfast           
Information given be a wide range of service providers.
Interpreters will be available.

Informal discussion between Refugees and Asylum Seekers and the wider community.

Coffee Morning (Mornington Women’s Group)

Thursday 17 June, 10am-12am, Mornington Community Centre, 117 Ormeau Road, BT7 1NT          
Welcoming people from Refugee Community to meet and socialise with members of Mornington Women’s Group.

Seminar on Destitution (NICRAS)

Friday 18 June, 2-4pm, Linen Hall Library, Befast. Speakers: Moira McCombe (NICRAS), NICRAS members,Patricia Campbell (Amnesty International), Anne Marie White (Inclusive Neigbourhood Project- Corrymeela/NICRAS), Denise Wright (Embrace), Neil McKittrick (Red Cross), Liz Griffith (Law Centre)

NICRAS Annual Cultural Celebration (NICRAS)

Friday 18 June, 7pm. City Church, University Avenue. Including Food, Music, Dance, and more

Refugee Week Football Tournament (World United)

Sunday 20 June, 2-5pm. Crusaders FC, Shore Road, Belfast. Community Integration Football. 
Spectators welcome! Bus leaving NICRAS office at 1pm
