Tell your story about voluntary sector cuts

A new website has just been launched to capture information about the impact of funding cuts across all regions of the UK, including Northern Ireland.

Voluntary or community groups which have been told their statutory funding will be reduced are asked to share their story by filling in a simple form which will ask how much funding was cut, where the funding came from and what activities will be affected.

NICVA has partnered up with other agencies including NCVO and Volunteering England so that all the information is gathered in one place and one format. The information is available for anyone to use to provide evidence and examples of where cuts are being made in terms of geography or in relation to types of activity affected.

The contribution of groups from NI will be crucial to building a complete picture of the scale of the challenge ahead in your community, your region, as well as nationally. Click on the link to tell your story: voluntarysectorcuts.org.uk
