The Law Centre's library holds a collection of books and journals (see below) relating to our specialist areas of law, as well as newsletters, bulletins and reports from the voluntary and statutory sectors.

Law Centre Library

The Law Centre library is housed in the Law Centre’s Belfast premises in Donegall Street The library is fully classified and access to the 1300+ books and reports held is through a searchable database. Stock also includes an extensive collection of journals and a list of titles is available through the link below.

Library stock is concentrated mainly in the areas dealt with by our caseworkers i.e. on legal aspects of community care, employment, immigration, social security, and mental health with information also held on human rights, access to the law and legal aid. A separate section contains books and recent reports in the field of social welfare.

Resource lists (including Law Centre journals, books and subscription databases, as well as useful contacts and websites) have been prepared for caseworkers in social security, employment, immigration, community care and mental health. These are available on request.
