Please note
- Due to very high demand, our focus is on forced migration – that is asylum claims, refugee family reunion, modern slavery and human trafficking, refugee/humanitarian protection settlement, travel documents, leave in line requests.
- Our Team also prioritises cases where there is an additional risk or vulnerability e.g. domestic abuse, exploitation or destitution.
- We do not provide advice where another immigration solicitor is already involved.
- We do not advise on Irish immigration law. The Immigrant Council of Ireland and Irish Refugee Council both run helplines and provide free information and advice.
- We do not normally assist with the following types of immigration cases:
-
- Tourism or visiting family and friends
- Work, academic visit or business
- Study
- Transit (on your way to somewhere else)
- Joining a partner or family members (unless you or your family member is a refugee)
- Travelling to Northern Ireland to obtain medical treatment
You may be able to obtain immigration advice from an IAA immigration Adviser or from a private practice solicitor regulated by Law Society NI.
