Northern Ireland welcomes Little Amal
We were delighted to be part of the special celebrations in Belfast last week welcoming Little Amal on her inspirational journey to raise awareness of the plight of refugees around the world.
Northern Ireland has a long history of welcoming people who are seeking safety and sanctuary. It is a place of refuge for many and so it was no surprise to see Little Amal so warmly welcomed on her journey through Northern Ireland.
Refugee protection is a human right for all
She is a beautiful symbol of human rights and hope and reminds all of us that whoever you are, wherever you are forced to flee from, refugee protection is a human right for all.
The Law Centre will always stand in solidarity with refugees and asylum seekers.
