The Cliff Edge Coalition are pleased that a motion on the impact of the 5-week wait for Universal Credit has passed today at the NI Assembly (Monday 11th February 2025).
We would like to thank MLA’s for bringing forward and supporting this motion.
We continue our collaborative efforts and welcome further engagement to resolve the 5-week wait policy, which contributes to increasing poverty and has a subsequent negative impact upon individuals and communities across Northern Ireland.
