Do you want the reward of working for an organisation seeking to change lives and change law? Do you have a passion for social justice?
As part of our growth and development, Law Centre NI (LCNI) is recruiting for three exciting new legal roles. This is your opportunity to use your legal skills and experience to make a real difference to people’s lives by providing access to justice and working to progress social justice in NI. If you are self-motivated with a passion for affecting progressive social change, we’d love to hear from you.
The three new posts are:
- Head of Employment Law.
- Head of Immigration Law.
- Legal Officer (Community Care & Capacity Law).
These are important roles in progressing the valuable work being carried out by LCNI. You will work alongside a committed team of staff to ensure that everyone has access to justice.
As well as support to the public, LCNI is also a second-tier referral body for the advice sector and other voluntary and community sector organisations throughout Northern Ireland, supporting the sector through legal information resources and training. The work spans initial legal advice and casework through to representation before the first-tier tribunals and higher courts, including strategic litigation that seeks to achieve progressive social change; public legal education; research and policy advocacy and the development of future social justice lawyers through academic partnerships and trainee schemes. Law Centre NI is also a member of the Law Centres Network.
If you want to make a difference as part of our team, working in partnership to achieve our strategic goals and objectives, then we want to hear from you.
