One of the values of Law Centre NI is that we continuously innovate and respond to meet current needs and to plan for a future of changing law and policy. Our emphasis on quality has put customer case, continuous improvement and innovation at the heart of the Law Centre.
Put simply, we want to achieve the best quality of care for our clients, our members, the advice sector and our stakeholders.
We have a dedicated Quality Officer who has secured the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification, which means that she is now a registered practitioner, fully qualified and trained in all aspects of quality audit.
Lexcel Quality Standard
In 2022, we maintained our Lexcel Quality Standard with 19 areas of good practice noted.
Lexcel is the Law Society NI’s practice management standard. The Lexcel practice management standard is only awarded to solicitors who meet the highest management and customer care standards. Lexcel accredited practices undergo rigorous independent assessment every year to ensure they meet required standards of excellence in areas such as client care, case management and risk management.
Accredited practices receive fewer complaints and claims against them than other practices.
