MASTERCLASS: Conditionality and Sanctions

Conditionality is at the heart of Universal Credit and applies to those who are claiming both in-work and out-of-work benefits. Failure to comply with the the terms of the Claimant Commitment put the claimant at risk of sanction. This course focuses on the detail of the work-related requirements Universal Credit claimants are expected to meet and equips advisers with the tools to reduce the risk of sanctions for their clients. This course will also give advisers the knowledge to effectively advocate on behalf of clients who have been sanctioned.
