Law Centre NI Cost of Living Guide published

As the cost of living crisis deepens, it is more important than ever that people in Northern Ireland receive the financial help they are entitled to.

Law Centre NI has published a new Cost of Living Guide to help individuals and families in the coming months.  The guide brings together details of the benefits, grants and schemes that are available to help people in Northern Ireland to maximise their household income and deal with financial difficulties that they may be facing.

Our guide covers support that adults, people claiming benefits, pensioners, people with disabilities, parents and expectant parents may be entitled to.  There is also information about debt, housing, health, transport and heating, as well as additional support schemes and charitable help.

Director of Law Centre NI, Ursula O’Hare, said:

“Many individuals and families in Northern Ireland are desperately struggling to make ends meet as the cost of living crisis worsens.  It is often difficult to know exactly what financial assistance might be available, but we want people to know that support is out there.  We hope this Cost of Living Guide will help people navigate that support and understand exactly what they are entitled to.”
