Ukraine invasion: one year on

On the anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine, Law Centre NI recognises the huge efforts made by The Executive Office, the voluntary sector and by individual sponsors to provide sanctuary to vulnerable Ukrainian refugees.

The response from our community has been incredible. We have all grappled with the significant flaws in the Home Office schemes and more work will be required going forward to provide adequate support and safeguarding.

All those fleeing war and persecution deserve our best efforts to provide them with safety and shelter.
